Billy "Roger" Laughter Obituary
Billy "Roger" Laughter, age 75, of Columbus, NC, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Ted and Frances Laughter.
Roger was a native of Rutherford County. He was a member of Sandy Plains ARP Church. Roger loved anything MOPAR. He was a simple man with a gentle spirit. He loved to have fun and make people laugh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Tyler Watkins and brothers Randy Laughter, Harold Laughter
Survivors include, his wife of 56 years Brenda A. Laughter, one daughter, Michale Watkins and her husband Phil, two brothers, Arthur Laughter and his wife Sarah, and James Laughter, one sister, Margaret Johnson, two grandchildren, Amber Watkins, and Preston Morrow.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, March 23, 2025 at McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, March 24, 2025 at Sandy Plains ARP Church with Reverend Greg Hamer and Reverend Dennis Yelton officiating. Interment will be at Sandy Plains ARP Church Cemetery, Tryon, NC. McMahan's Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
