Geno Lamar Clark, born on March 14, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida, peacefully passed away at the age of 62 on March 20, 2025. A proud graduate of William M. Raines High School, Geno's life was a beautiful reflection of love, kindness, and unwavering faith.
Geno was a man who truly embodied the essence of generosity. With a heart of gold, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. As a Journeyman Electrician with Charter Electric Company, and through his selfless dedication to his family, he worked tirelessly to provide and serve those he loved. His legacy of hard work, integrity, and compassion will never be forgotten.
Geno’s love for his wife, Karon, was steadfast. He was her devoted caregiver until his health no longer allowed him to continue. His faith was his strength, and as a dedicated member of The Lord’s Church Ministries, it carried him through life’s challenges and gave him peace.
Geno was preceded in death by his father, Gene Clark; daughter, Jaykia Clark; and grandmothers, Hattie Mae Watts and Sarah Clark.
Geno’s family and friends were the true treasures of his life. He was a loving son, a supportive brother, a proud father, and a cherished friend. His love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his wife, Karon Clark; mother, Leona Nelson; daughter, Tychell Clark; adopted daughter, Lakeya Robinson; brothers, Craig Hardy and Phillip Richardson; sisters, Veronica Brown (Eric), Nadine Richardson-White, Shelia Richardson; grandchildren, Jacier Clark, Asan Garrison, Leroy Robinson III, Thelonous Pickett; aunt, Hattie Robinson; uncles, Louis Williams (Patricia), Johnnie Nelson, Hilton Watts, Jr (Tina); and a host of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Geno’s life was a testament to love, faith, and resilience. His kindness touched everyone he met, and his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him. May his soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love of God.
