Patricia (Patty) Ann Finnerty, 62, of Scott Township, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 20, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Patty was born on June 19, 1962 to Joan and Frank Hutchinson. She was one of seven siblings all of whom stayed close and laughed often. Throughout the years you could find Patty and her infectious laugh waitressing at Eat n’ Park. She was a staple in the community and amongst her friends and co-workers she loved so much.

In 1985 Patty and Gary Finnerty met, got married in 1991 and continued to raise their three children, Nichole, Michelle and Tim. Without question, her greatest accomplishment was the family she created and loved. She always had a story to tell them and they could never leave without getting the biggest hug from her.

Patty was the biggest personality in a small package. She loved and loved big. She would help anyone in need, she was kind, funny and she loved God. She lived each day loving her family to the fullest, listening to music, dancing in the rain and enjoying the outdoors from her porch.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband Gary, daughters Nichole (John) Conner, Michelle (Michael) Novak, and son Tim (Jennifer) Weinzierl, grandchildren; Zach, Ian and Dylan Conner; Devin, Justin, Brandon, and Nathan Talerico; Bella and Nik Novak; and Jake and Leighton Weinzierl; brothers Frank (Sue), Larry, Thomas (Teri), and Stephen (Mary) Hutchinson, and sister Joanie Hutchinson. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends all of whom she loved dearly.

Patty was also preceded in death by her mother Joan in 1986, father Frank in 1977 and brother Michael in 1980.
