On March 20, 2025 at age 92. He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy A. (DeWolf) Young; parents Frank C. and Florence W. Young; sister Jean (Herman) Young Grieger; daughter-in-law Amy Young; brothers-in-law Leonard (Mary) DeWolf, Lawrence DeWolf, Kenneth Mosholder and John Veltre. He is survived by his children Steven A. Young, Jacqueline Young-Karr and Charles R. Young; grandchildren Heather Johnson (Junior), Keith Karr, Robert (Charissa) Karr, Molly Rae Anne (Giddel) Lopez, Adam Young; 7 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Shirley Mosholder, Sylvane (Dave) Barclay, Elaine Veltre and Shirley DeWolf; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday April 15th from 4-7PM at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Bob’s memory to the Jewish Home Foundation.
