It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lachman Dass Chunkria at 7:52am on March 20, 2025, at the age of 90. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Lachman dedicated his life to the people he loved and will never be forgotten.

Known for his kindness, stubbornness, and endless stories, he had a unique way of bringing people together through his wisdom and warmth. His life was a testament to resilience and unwavering dedication to his family. Those fortunate enough to know him were deeply touched by his guidance and the countless lessons he shared.

Lachman is survived by his beloved wife, daughters, sons, and adored grandchildren, who will forever hold his love and teachings in their hearts. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the stories he told, the values he instilled, and the love he gave so freely.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Edmonton Crematorium and Funeral Home, 6403 Roper Rd NW, Edmonton, AB.
