Charles “Chuck” R. Patterson, 65, of Rockford, formerly of Fox Lake, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Milestone, Rockford.  He was born August 14, 1959, in Elgin, to the late Rev. Dennis and June (nee Kaufmann) Patterson.

Chuck enjoyed trains, pigs, and watching The Honeymooners, The Wizard of Oz, and The Ghost and Mister Chicken.  He loved Count von Count from Sesame Street and dearly loved Mr. Rodger’s Neighborhood.  Chuck passed away on Fred Rodger’s birthday.

Survivors include his siblings, Edith “Edie” (Jack) Hill of Rockford, Frederick “Rick” (Sharon) Patterson of Tower, MN, and Denise Patterson of Fox Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett at a future date.
