Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM in First Presbyterian Church in Lafayette for Stephen Carl Andrew, age 75, who passed away on March 20, 2025 at his residence in Cecilia.

Interment will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.

Reverend Leigh Rachal with First Presbyterian Church of Lafayette will officiate the services.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Monday at Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN Location from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Elizabeth "Janie" Ford Andrew; his daughters, Jill Elizabeth Andrew and husband, Rocky Paul Haire, and Katie McKee Andrew and husband, Tony Latiolais; his grandchildren, Cole McKee Haire and Jesse Paul Haire; his sisters, Phyllis Marchessaunt (Ron), Susan Miller (J.B.); his nieces and nephew, Chelsie Sutton, Laura Zito, and Bryan Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy McKee Andrew and Philip Jay Andrew; his twin brother, David Andrew.

Stephen, a devoted husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by love. Born with a deep love for the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and true outdoorsman. He proudly worked over 40 years in the oil field, with time spent in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.

Stephen met the love of his life, Janie, in Lafayette, and they married in 1978. Together they built a life full of joy, faith, and family. A loyal Saints and LSU fan, Stephen also found joy in Bible study and doing maintenance work at First Presbyterian Church, where he could fix just about anything. He was known as a hard worker, a handyman, and a wise, frugal man.

Stephen never missed a game his daughters played in. He cared deeply, provided faithfully, and believed in raising strong, self-sufficient girls. He loved music-especially classic rock, Cajun, and Zydeco-and never turned down a good party, especially during Mardi Gras.

His life was full of love, laughter, and purpose. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Pallbearers will be Rocky Haire, Tony Latiolais, Bryan Andrew, Jay Andrew, Kevin Andrew, Greg Andrew, and Tobey Ford.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Cole Haire and Jesse Haire.
