Vladimir Maksimovic was born on November 23, 1933 in Vratnica, Yugoslavia to Stevan and Danica Maksimovic. Vladimir, who resided in Allen Park, Michigan, passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Smilja Maksimovic for 66 years. Loving father of Danilo (Dafinka) Maksimovic and Stevan Maksimovic. Dear brother of Jorgo (Svetlana) Maksimovic and Ubavka (the late Mile) Zdravkoski. Dearest grandfather of Brian, Samantha, Kristin, Christopher, and Constantine. Vladimir was preceded in death by his parents. Vladimir is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

In state Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with a 11:00 a.m. funeral service to follow at St. Petka Serbian Orthodox Church, 1755 E. Wattles, Troy. Interment Parkview Memorial Cemetery. Please share memories and/or leave condolences on Vladimir’s guestbook on his tribute wall.
