Alfonso Gallardo, 79, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1946, in Mexico, to the late, Juan Gallardo and Luz Duran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Gallardo, his sons, Jose Martinez, Alfonso Gallardo Jr., and Hector Ybarra, his daughters, Mayra Rios (Pablo), Martha Munoz, and Luz Maria Montez (Anthony), his brothers, Jose Concha, and Ruben Gallardo, his sisters, Irma Romero, Rosa Cruz, Norma Gallardo, and Sulema Gallardo, and his grandchildren, Yanelee Rios, Dominic Rios, George Mendez Jr., Maximiliano Rios, Trinity Montez, Zachary Montez, Faith Montez, Trenton Gallardo, and Paisley Gallardo.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Juan Gallardo and Luz Duran, Manuel Gallardo, Jaime Gallardo, and Juana Gallardo.

Honored to service as pallbearers are Jose Martinez, Alfonso Gallardo Jr., Hector Ybarra, George Mendez Jr, Zachary Montez, and Maximiliano Rios.  

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to his final place of rest at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery.
