Serapio Garcia, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, in Richardson, Texas. Born on November 14, 1947, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Serapio lived a life rich in love, family, and passion.
A cherished resident of Garland, Serapio is mourned by his loving wife, Alicia, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. He leaves behind a beautiful family legacy, survived by his son Julio and daughters Juana, Leonor, Carmen, Reyna, and Laura. His brothers Felix, Juan, and Jose; and sisters Longina, Maria, Antonia, and Clara also carry his memory forward. Serapio was a proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Preceding him in death was his dear great-grandchild, Maria Victoria, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
His final resting place will be Garland Memorial Park in Garland, Texas.
Serapio had a profound love for the simpler things in life, often finding serenity in nature. His interests included spending time with his animals, embracing the countryside, and nurturing his garden.
Serapio Garcia’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the beauty of nature. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, and may his memory continue to flourish in the hearts of those who loved him.
