Marcial Morales Martinez, Jr., 40 of San Angelo, Texas, was released from this life and entered into eternal peace on Thursday, March 20, 2025, in San Angelo, Texas.  Marcial was born June 14, 1984, in San Angelo, Texas to Marcial Martinez, Sr. and Ida Morales.

Marcial Morales Martinez, Jr., was a man who deeply loved his family.  His heart was always in the right place, and he strived to do what was right.  He had a playful spirit and a great sense of humor, always finding ways to make those around him laugh and enjoy life.  Through every challenge, he turned to God for strength and guidance, his faith serving as a steady foundation in hard times.  His warmth, lighthearted nature and unwavering faith will be dearly missed.  

Marcial was preceded in death by his mother, Aida Morales.  He is survived by his loving parents, Marcial and Norma Martinez, as well as his beloved siblings, Crystal Martinez, Esiquiel Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, Erika Terry (spouse, Adrienne Terry), Raul Hernandez, Ty Hernandez (spouse, Marissa Hernandez), Thomas Hernandez (spouse, Brandi Hernandez).

His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

Your presence is welcome at Gutierrez Funeral Chapels, 1002 North Oakes, San Angelo, Texas 76903 at a gathering in the memory of Marcial on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The family of Marcial Martinez, Jr. wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring words, kind gestures, and presence have been a great source of strength for us.  To all who sent flowers, cards and messages of condolence, or who attended the service, we are profoundly grateful.  Your thoughtfulness and compassion have brought us comfort and solace.  Thank you for being there for us and for honoring the memory of Marcial.  Your support means more to us than words can express.
