Emile Peter Piché August 3, 1937 - March 20, 2025



It is with a heavy heart that we announce our Uncle Emile Peter Piché ’s passing. He went to be with the Lord on March 20, 2025.  Emile was predeceased by his wife Blanche (Vandale) Piché in 2020. They shared 62 years of married life together until her passing.


Emile was the son of Fred and Zilda Piché born on August 3, 1937. During his early years, he worked various construction jobs, was a Golf Pro in Humbolt for a year. He moved back to Prince Albert where he started working for the City of Prince Albert, he worked for the City and became a Foreman until retiring 30 years later. 


Left to mourn Emile's passing; special friend, Marie Gardiner, his sisters, Rita (John) Katona, Doris (Denis) Brisebois, and Yvonne Gyoerick; brother- in- law, Larry (Brenda) Vandale; 5 special godchildren, Louise (nee Henry) Snow, Shelly (nee Henry) Smith, Roy Stevenson, Bill McLennan, Gwendolyn Clyke; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Blanche Piché; his parents, Fred and Zilda; a brother Alcide (in infancy), brother, Lawrence; parents-in-law, Leo (Rose) Vandale; brothers-in-law, Octava (in infancy), John Vandale, and Bernard Gyoerick; his sister-in-law, Florence McLennan- Basaraba; and Goddaughter, Sandra Carriere.


Emile loved to have the ODD drink, he enjoyed dancing and socializing, he liked sports days, and travelling to various places to visit with family and friends. He could tear up the dance floor in his younger years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at St. Michaels Parish, 1505 - 13th Street West, with Father Maurice Fiolleau and Father DJ Vu celebrating. Lunch will be served following interment at Metis Central, 69 South Industrial Drive (directly east of the casino), Prince Albert, SK.
