Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Toni and Trish House in Auburn. Age 73 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Maxine (Jamrog) Leszczynski, Diane was born on August 28, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Jerry Rau on February 24, 1973. He predeceased her on July 21, 2005. Diane graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She was employed at HealthSource Saginaw for 17 years until her retirement in 2017. Diane enjoyed fishing, playing cards and bingo. She also was very meticulous about her yard, especially with her flowers and the grass cutting.
Surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Rau, Saginaw; Charlene Rau, Saginaw; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Marilyn (Bill) Eyers, Wally (Reba) Leszczynski, Ron (Sheri) Leszczynski, Jerome Leszczynski, Carol Leszczynski; sister-in-law, Wendy Leszczynski; many nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Leszczynski, Barbara Leszczynski, Steve Leszczynski and Edward Leszczynski.
Honoring Diane’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
