Shirley Cherry Obituary
Shirley M. Cherry, age 83, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Doctor's Hospital West. Member Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Shirley retired after 35 years with Social Security and 20 years with DCSC. She loved to garden and cook. She will be missed. Preceded in death by, parents, Floyd and Dorothy Clay, sister, Betty Jo Terry, son in law, Brad Lucas. Survived by, children, Chris Cherry, Sheryl Cherry, Carole Cherry and Bernard Cherry, grandchildren, Brad Cherry, Stephanie McElroy, Kaela Yarbrough, Kori (Bright) Daniels and Carole Conley, sister, Judith Alexander, 8 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, March 28, 2025 from 11-1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Interment Galloway Cemetery.
