Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his three children, Karen (and her husband, Dylan), Jayson, and Jayme; his nephew Will and fiancé Holly; his niece Jessica; his sisters Robin (and her husband Joe) and Carol (and her significant other Christian); his brother Mike (Jersey); his bonus sister Nancy; his mother and father-in-law, Gail and William (Bill) Moore; as well as many other cousins and extended family, including Vin and Ann, Margaret and Jimmy, Diane (Dee), Dot and Dorene, and Deb. He is also survived by his grandmother-in-law, Cecelia.
Jason will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He had a remarkable ability to treat everyone as if they were his own, embracing people from all walks of life without hesitation or judgment. Regardless of their background, he made everyone feel valued, respected, and part of his extended family. His kindness and generosity knew no boundaries, and his inclusive spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jason was a devoted husband, father, brother, son, and friend. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spending quality time with his family. Jason found peace and joy in nature. His passion for the outdoors was only rivaled by his love for his family, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His laughter and kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
One of Jason’s greatest joys was attending Indy races with his close friend, Vin. They shared a love for the thrill and camaraderie of racing, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Jason’s love for gaming also brought him closer to his friends, particularly Ray "Angry" and Mark "FX." Whether they were teaming up or competing, Jason found joy and camaraderie in these gaming sessions, and these moments will be fondly remembered by all who shared them.
Jason was a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and passionately believed in the importance of safeguarding individuals' rights to bear arms. He advocated for these freedoms as fundamental to personal liberty and the Constitution.
Jason was also an advocate for cannabis use and sustainable pain management. He passionately believed in alternative methods for health and healing, and he shared his journey and knowledge with others in the hope of making a positive impact.
Jason’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to his favorite chemo nurses, Nikki and Courtney, whose care, compassion, and support made a profound difference during his treatment. Their kindness meant the world to him and to all who loved him.
The family also extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who reached out, showed support, or offered love during this difficult time. Your kindness and compassion have been a source of great comfort.
A celebration of Jason’s life will be held at his home on July 4th. The family invites all who knew and loved him to join them in honoring his memory.
