LOUISVILLE – Harold G. Eastwood, 99, formerly of Hannawa Falls, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Massena.
Harold was born in Jamaica, New York on November 18, 1925, the son of the late Harold and Laura (Payment) Eastwood and attended schools in Massena. He entered the US Navy on January 18, 1944, serving his country during WW II until his discharge on April 20, 1946. On March 29, 1948, he married Irene Pelletier at the Church of the Sacred Heart. She predeceased him on July 30, 2017.
Harold was a mechanic and service manager for John’s Chevrolet in Massena for many years. He was a former member of the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department.
Harold is survived by children, Bruce Eastwood of Florida and Mary Ann Campbell of Massena; his grandchildren, Katie (Justin) Melvia, Stephen (Christy) Campbell, and Allison (T.J.) O’Donnell; and a great granddaughter, Kimber O’Donnell.
In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his brother, William Eastwood.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, however there will be no services. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Louisville.
