Gloria Jean Vann, 56, of 332 Ross Ave. died December 23, 2018 at Maria Parham Health. She was born in Vance County to Edward and Martha Elizabeth Hawkins Vann. A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the former Henderson Middle School on Charles Street. Interment will follow in Sunset Gardens.  Survivors include her children: Kendrick Vann, Tyler Vann. Thereon Ragland and Bruce Dock; two grandchildren and siblings: Paul Vann, Rev. John Vann, Michael Vann, Andre' Vann, Jacqueline Burchette, Joan Henderson, Cynthia Vann and Tonya Henderson. Viewing will be from noon to 6 pm, Friday, December 28 in the funeral home chapel and at the school prior to the service. The family is receiving friends at 1266 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd in Warrenton. Arrangements are by Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
