Shelley E. Sykes, 66, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She was born August 21, 1951, a daughter of the late Donald W. and Helen Quattlebaum Sykes. She was a graduate of Vernon Verona Sherrill High School and Oswego State College. She was employed by CSEA of Albany and formerly by Colgate University. Shelley enjoyed music, traveling and playing the piano and trumpet. She was a member of Clark Mills Band along with her father and a volunteer at Wanderers Rest Humane Association. Shelley is survived by a sister, Carole Cooke of Verona. In keeping with Shelley’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, NY 13346.
