Francisco V. Herrera “Frankie”

54, lifelong resident of Chicago’s Southside, passed away March 13, 2025. Beloved son of the late Francisco Herrera and Dolores Vinas; devoted father of Francisco X Herrera and Ira B. Edwards; loving companion of Janice Tucker; dearest brother of Rosa Cervantes, Christina Meciazek, Rita Falcon, and Martine A. Herrera; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Frankie enjoyed time spent fishing and spending time with his son. He was a devoted son, father, brother, companion, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Prayer Service 5:00 p.m. Cremation following in accordance with his wishes.
