Patricia Ann Brown, 78, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 after a lengthy illness.
Patricia was born on July 14, 1946 in Sandusky, OH to the late Edward and Ruth (Schweigart) Carter.
Patricia graduated from Sandusky High School in 1964 and was a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she obtained an associate's degree in Computer Science. She was employed as an Office Manager at Flynn-Py and Kruse LPA for 24 years. Patricia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In her spare time, she loved going out to lunches and playing cards with family and friends. She was also a lover of game shows, having once auditioned for Jeopardy.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Deborah Phenicie of Sandusky, Laura (David) Toth of Brunswick, Jennifer Rickard of Sandusky, OH; brother, Thomas (Irene) Carter of Toledo, OH, six grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willie Brown in 2019 and her brothers, William and David Carter.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2025 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue Sandusky, OH 44870 with Fr. Prashanth Kumar presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
