Troy Stamps, age 57, of Hopkinsville, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his home. The family has chosen cremation with a Celebration of Life Visitation to be held from 11:00AM -1:00PM at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Monday, March 17, 2025. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.

Troy was born on, August 23, 1967, in Hopkinsville, the son of Jimmy Stamps of Hopkinsville and Agatha Duncan Nowak of Crofton. Troy worked as a painter for many years. He was preceded in death by his baby brother, James Rhett Stamps.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 11 years, Veronica Davis Stamps of Hopkinsville; his sons, Ian Stamps of Washington, Dalton (Kayla) Stamps of Hopkinsville, Dalton (Kayce) Castile of Hopkinsville and Evan Burkhead of Hopkinsville; his brothers, JR (BobbieJo) Nowak of Hopkinsville; Heath Stamps of Hopkinsville, Eric Meacham of Nashville, and Michael Joe Meacham of Nashville; his sisters, Parrish (Kelly) Manning of Maysville, and Lindsey (Kenny) Crosby of Crofton; and eight grandchildren.
