Karen Elaine Kirby

June 22, 1958 – March 9, 2025

On March 9, 2025, at the age of 66, Karen Elaine Kirby was taken from us too soon by an unpredictable brain aneurysm. She is survived by her son Kyle Kirby, her daughter and daughter-in-law Alex and Carly Kirby-Sweet, her siblings Linda and Jim Bolton, Murray and Brenda Campbell, Sandra and Jim Woodiwiss, and Mike and Kathleen Campbell. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Kirby (2008), her sister Nancy Campbell (1969), and her parents Ronald and Joyce Campbell (2012 & 2025). Karen is survived by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was an unstoppable force in this world with her stubborn determination, perseverance, overwhelming kindness and ability to find the humour in almost anything. She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, coworker and friend, and would have been the best grandma to her first grandchild she was so excited for, expected to arrive shortly after her 67th birthday in June. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and we will carry her with us in our hearts and our memories.
