Joseph M. Babrowsky

Joseph M. Babrowsky, of Union, NJ, passed away on March 13, 2025.

Born in New York City, from ages 6-16, Joseph was an entertainer. He performed at resorts in New Brunswick, and the Catskills (The Borscht Belt).

Staff Sergeant Joseph Babrowsky served as an Infantry Squad Leader in World War II, Operations 106th Infantry Division in the European Theater at the Battle of the Bulge.

He worked for ITT Federal in Clifton as a Supervisor of Electrical Technicians for 9 years, for Litton Industries for 11 years, and attained the position of Director of Quality Assurance. He also worked for Lockheed Electronics Co. in Plainfield as Staff Engineer Quality Assurance for 18 years and retired in 1990.

Joseph was Past Chairman of Cub Scout Pack 161 of Union, Past President of Temple Israel of Union, First President of Council of Congregation Isreal of Union, Past President of Lockheed Electronics Management Association, and Past President of Lockheed Stardusters Association.

He wrote, directed, choreographed, and performed in shows for PTA to raise funds for Student Scholarships for 25 Years.

Joseph was predeceased by Geri, his wife of 73 years. He is Survived by his children, Lynn Stein (Jeffrey), Dale Wasserman-Blair (Steve), Cary Babrowsky (Christine); Grandchildren, Brandon Stein (Tamar), Danielle ben Yakar (Nadav), Kimberly Moscariello (Nick), Richard Wasserman (Jessica), Tyler Babrowsky (Tara), and Zachary Babrowsky; Great-Grandchildren, Josh and Hannah Stein, Landon and Lorelai Moscariello, Sophia and Ethan ben Yakar, Caleb and Brielle Wasserman, and Kai Babrowsky.

The interment is private to family.
