Kim Loree’ Fowler Gwynne, 64, passed away on March 14, 2025. Born in Palatka, Florida, on May 21, 1960, Kim was a free spirit who brought joy, laughter, and warmth wherever she went.
She was raised by her loving mother, Mary Williams, and her stepfather, the late James Williams, alongside her siblings. She was preceded in death by her step-father, James Williams, her father, Robert Fowler, and her sister, Melody Williams. Kim is survived by her beloved mother, Mary Williams; her son, Christopher Poole; her cherished grandson, Dawson Poole; and her brother, Robert Fowler.
Kim graduated from Stephens High School in Toccoa, Georgia. She later earned her degree from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. After finishing school, she made a life for herself across the southeastern United States, embracing new places and experiences with an adventurous spirit.
A true people person, Kim never met a stranger. Her fun-loving spirit and boundless energy made her unforgettable to those lucky enough to know her. She found peace by the ocean and found solace at her mother’s home, surrounded by waterfalls and the beauty of nature.
Kim’s adventurous heart, love of life, and deep connections to family and friends will be dearly missed but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Kim’s memory by spending time in nature, embracing adventure, and sharing laughter with those you love.
