Thomas P. Knight formerly of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on March 13th.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Knight and mother, Pearl Knight. 

Tom also had a stepmother, Dolores Van Hoose Bryan (Estil), and nephew Daniel Lowe. 

Tom is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sally; two sons, Greg and David; brother, Arthur Knight (Debbie); sister, Margaret Jane Lowe (Burgess) and a niece, Jessica Lowe.

Tom grew up in his beloved home of Frankfort, KY.  He then graduated from Eastern KY University.  From there he was a Captain in the Army. Following that he worked for the State Government in Employment services and other jobs, retiring at 62.  He and Sally got to enjoy plenty of trips and great time

Tom was an avid UK basketball fan and traveled to many SEC and NCAA tournaments.  Tom spent long stints of time in Crestwood, Ky and Louisville, KY but make no mistake, Frankfort was always home to him.  

Tom never met a stranger and was always quick with a comment.  Pretty sure he never had an enemy.  He will be sorely missed.

The family would love to thank our caregiver and new daughter, Diana Seaman.   Your compassion and care of Mom and Dad has been truly AMAZING.  We could not have done it without your help.  We LOVE you!

A huge shoutout to all of the staff at the Legacy at English Station.  Everyone was so helpful.  We cannot express our gratitude and sincere thanks for all you did for Dad.  You know who you are!!

Also we would like to thank all of the wonderful and thoughtful people at hosparus.  You guys were amazing and the extra help you gave us will not be forgotten.
