Tony Elrod, 83 of Flowery Branch died Thursday March 13, 2025, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville surrounded by his loving family.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Mr. Elrod was the son of the late Roy and Jessie Lee Allen Elrod. He was a graduate of South Hall High School Class of 1959.  Mr. Elrod was the founder of Elrod Electric in 1961 and was retired from Georgia Power with over 40 years of service.  Mr. Elrod was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Charlotte Reed Elrod, Flowery Branch, son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Donna Elrod, Flowery Branch, grandchildren, Cameron Elrod and his wife, Taylor Elrod, Flowery Branch, Cassidy Stine and her husband David Stine, McCormick, SC, great grandchildren, Harlee, Rhett, and Evy Ann. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Rusty Reese will officiate. Interment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, but those desiring may make memorial contributions to Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, Georgia 30502 in memory of Mr. Elrod.
