Waterbury- Michael Kenneth Petersen, 44, passed away at home on Monday, June 18, 2018. Michael was born in Waterbury, the son of Kenneth W. and Eileen (Santos) Petersen. He grew up in Naugatuck and graduated from Naugatuck High School class of 1992. He loved fishing and enjoyed working as a painter for 25 years. Michael is survived by his parents; his sister, Lynn Cuttitta and her husband Brian; his niece and nephew Gianna and Nicolas Cuttitta; his close family friend Karen Aceto and her husband Dan Aceto and their son Jason; several aunts; and many cousins. Services are private and there are no calling hours.
