Betty Earlene Heflin Obituary

Betty Earlene Heflin, 60, of Atkins, passed away peacefully March 9, 2025, in Drasco, surrounded by her family. She graduated from Pottsville and was responsible for the start of the Cheerleading program at the High School in 1982. She enjoyed being around her grandchildren, riding horses, and helping people out.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.T. Heflin; brother, Roy J. Heflin; and grandparents, Roy and Floy Heflin and Jim and Evelyn Russell; step-father, Bill Harris; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Heflin.

She is survived by by her mother, Betty Price; a sister, Darlene and Randy Moore of Drasco; brothers, Troy Heflin of Morrilton, Jerry Reiner of Russellville; sister, Sweetheart Jones of Morrilton; 4 children, Shannon and Paul Pack of Dardanelle, Pamela and George Darby of Atkins, Chad and Heather Story of Greenbrier, Katrina Reiner of Morrilton; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and lots of other family and friends.

A family conducted Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 29 at 2:00pm. at Bells Chapel Assembly of God, followed by a potluck meal there at the church. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
