Gary P Golden, Sr., 83, passed away peacefully on March 9th at Complete Care in Wall Township, NJ.

Gary was born in Lockport, NY. He joined the US Navy and was honorably discharged after his 4 years of service.

In May of 1965, Gary married Margaret 'Peggy' Crusco, who was the absolute love of his life. They settled in Elmwood Park, NJ where they raised their family before moving to Milford, PA in 2001.

Gary and Peggy were two of the kindest and most selfless people, who had a wonderful gift of turning friends into family.

Gary was an amazing husband and father, and he always showed up for his family and friends. He instilled the concept of "Golden's show up" in his children, because he always showed up for them.

Gary worked for American Bible Society in Wayne, NJ for over 30 years. He was an avid hunter, and loved a good action movie, Waylon Jennings, sponge candy from Fowler's, and his family and friends.

His sense of humor was infectious, and he knew how to tell a great story.

Gary was predeceased by his beloved Peg, and his family finds comfort knowing they are together again. He was also predeceased by his parents, Harry and Jean Golden and Sue and Art Vossler.

Gary is survived by his children Gary Jr (Lisa), Heather Golden (Gary), Alicia Golden, and Brenda Brunz (Chad). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Harry and Lana Golden. He will be missed by his extended family, and by his lifelong best friends John and Georgia Adams and Dave and Marilyn Kuhles.

His family would also like to thank Complete Care at Wall and Serenity Hospice of New Jersey for providing exceptional care and compassion in the last weeks of Gary's life.

A private family service will be held.
