Frazer Eckles, age 87 of Big Rock, IL passed away at OSF Saint Paul Medical Center in Mendota, IL on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, MO on October 17, 1937 the son of Kline and Billie (Frazer) Eckles.
He was united in marriage on March 1, 1960 to Miss Judith Ann Stephens and they spent the next 58 years happily together until her passing on May 19, 2018. Mr. Eckles was a member of Local 150 for many years as an operating engineer. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Big Rock in Big Rock, IL. Frazer was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
Frazer is survived by his sons, David Eckles of Earlville, IL, Stephan (Doug Van Arsdale) Eckles of Chicago, IL and William (Jenny) Eckles of Earlville, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew (Amanda) Eckles, Jacquelyn (Dan) Enge, Abigail Eckles, and William Kline Eckles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kline and Billie Eckles; and his wife, Judith Ann Eckles.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bristol, IL.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Homes in Yorkville, IL.
