Sandra Jean Stapleton, 88, of Tuttle, passed from this life on March 9th, 2025. She was born May 21st, 1936, to Arthur and Wyma (Prock) Stayton, in Hollis, Oklahoma.

Sandra was an avid quilter, to the point that every baby got a handmade blanket from her. She also enjoyed doing other crafts when she could. Gardening was also something that brought her much joy, and she especially loved tending to her peonies.

Her greatest joy in life, however, was her family. She was extremely involved in their lives and was even a den mother during her son’s Cub Scouts days. Once she had grandkids, teasing them became one of her favorite ways to show them her love. Sandra had a love for all kids, and they also loved her. She was a lover of sweets her whole life and was always happy to have a little something to brighten her day.

Left to cherish Sandra’s memory are son Steve and wife Shirley, son Jerry and wife Jane, daughter Jana and husband Todd, grandchildren Shari, Stevan, Joshua, Kristopher, Shawn, and Kim, and eleven great grandchildren, as well as numerous other family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Bill, and her brother James.

Sandra will be dearly missed, and her memory will always be treasured.
