Charles D. Duncan

Charles D. Duncan passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with his family by his side at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.

Per the request of Charles and his family, there will be no public calling hours. A celebration of life will be shared at a later date.

Charles was born March 23, 1943 in Sodus, NY, the son of Allen S. Duncan and Dorothy V. Barnes. He was a high school graduate and received an Associate’s Degree from SUNY Morrisville. He worked 35 years for the New York State Department of Agriculture as a fresh fruit inspector. After retirement from NYS he worked for K. M. Davies Storage for 10 years.

Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years Barbara J. (Tack) Duncan, daughter Debra (Jack) Guntrum, son Jeffrey A. (Katie Pollot) Duncan, grandson Mathew (Brooke) Duncan, granddaughters Erin and Allyson Guntrum, great-grandchild J. J. Duncan and sister-in-law Sue Duncan, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins and also his many friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers Robert and Allen (Barbara).
