Charlotte Annette Walldroff (66), LaFargeville, died March 10, 2025, surrounded by family while under brief care at Samaritan Keep Home.


Born November 13, 1958, to parents Jean M. and William A. Walldroff, she attended LaFargeville Central School graduating in 1979.


She is survived by five brothers: Glenn Walldroff, Lawrence (Mary) Walldroff, Marcus (Rita) Walldroff, Wendell (Donna) Walldroff, Edward Walldroff; her sister Deborah (David) Schryver; and sisters-in-law Janet Walldroff, Anne Marie Walldroff Robinson, and Sue (Tom) Kirkland.


In addition, she has 17 nieces and nephews: Jason Schryver, Michael (Lindsey Smith) Schryver; Darci (Nicholas) Byrne, Paul (Rebecca) Walldroff; Benjamin (Jada) Walldroff, Maria (David) Van Pelt, Monica Walldroff, Becky (Daniel) Urbano, Matthew (Lenka) Walldroff, Jessica (Nicholas) Esford; Leah (Marc) Cleveland, Andrea (Whitney Palmer) Walldroff, Julia (Ian) Weller; Anthony (Jennifer) Walldroff, Andrew (Hillary) Walldroff; William (Jaylea) Walldroff, and Sarah Walldroff. She cherished her many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.


Close friends and caregivers include BFF Yvonne (Mark) Getman, Gail Paddock, Bonnie Stewart, Leslie Comfort, and Christine Tiff.


She provided child-care for several nieces and nephews, and attended fellowship regularly at River Community Church when possible. She enjoyed several hobbies and activities including making hook-and-loop rugs, paint-by-numbers and adult-coloring, puzzle books, jig saw puzzles, and game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. She kept in regular touch with many having a joke or two to share, a birthday greeting to sing, or a plate of just-baked cookies to pick-up.


She was predeceased by her parents, her oldest brother David Walldroff, her step-mother Miriam Curtis Walldroff, and sister-in-law Rita Ogburn, as well as beloved pets including her cat, Oscar.


Memorial arrangements will be Friday March 14, 2025, with Visitation from 10-12, followed by Service at 12 pm and a Reception Luncheon at 1:30 for all friends and family at River Community Church, 38844 Bartlett Point Road, Clayton, NY. Burial will be in the spring at Grove Cemetery, LaFargeville.
