Brad Austin Jones

Brad Austin Jones, 34, beloved son of Nathan S. and Terri Sanders Jones, entered into rest on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Howard H. Jones and Carol Siegler (Andrew), paternal great-grandparents, Austin and Juanita Ballew, maternal great-grandmother, Eloise Williams, and great maternal grandfather, Jessie Paul Young, Sr.

The family will greet friends on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 3 o’clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, South Carolina 29829. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4:30 in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Eric Boggs officiating.

Left to cherish Brad's memory with his parents are his brother and sisters, Curtis Stark (Laura), Megan Stark, and Natalie Jones, all of North Augusta, South Carolina; grandparents, Wayne and Joann Fleming, of Hephzibah, GA; aunts and uncles, Danny Sanders, of Charleston, SC, Chip Jones (Angel) and Janice Bass (Jay), of North Augusta, SC, Bobbi Doughtett, of Jackson, SC, and Carol Burch, of Aiken, SC; nephews and nieces, Hudson Stark, Tanner Bailey, and Henley Stark.

Brad was born in Augusta, GA, on December 10, 1990. He was a member of True North Church and attended Beech Springs Church in Pelzer, SC. Brad loved fishing, hunting, working on bikes, cutting hair, and playing guitar. Growing up, he played every sport available to him, and his love of sports was evident, considering his devotion to his Georgia Bulldogs.

Brad had a big heart. He was empathetic and caring. He was also a giver, always wanting to make others feel better, whether by going to see them or simply texting them to say hi. He lit up a room because he was so funny. He had a way of making you smile. If you ever met Brad, you would never forget him.
