Kathryn Musil Obituary

Kathy “KK / Hollywood” Musil, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She left this world with many broken hearts, but also with a lifetime of love and memories that will never fade. Kathy had a profound appreciation for the world’s beauty, finding solace in sunrises, sunsets, and the vast ocean. Her passion for boating and the friends she made within that community since she joined in 2007 is a bond that will live on forever. As an amateur artist she brought beauty into everything she touched. Her greatest love was always her family. Nothing made her happier than spending time with her husband and grandkids, and her warmth and presence will be deeply missed.

Kathy was known for her straightforward and genuine nature. She was generous, loving, wise, and inspired those around her to value life, stay strong, and cherish meaningful moments. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we will honor her legacy by embracing the love, lessons, and strength she left us

Her memory will live on in all who knew her. Kathy wished to be cremated, with a memorial celebration at Harbor View Yacht Club, Toledo, OH to be held at on June 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M.

Kathy is survived by her father Richard (Anne) Doerfler; her loving husband Larry (Bub) Musil; her children, Stephany (Drew) Holman, Justin (Amy) Musil, Nathan (Anissa) Musil; her cherished grandchildren, Tristin, Brendan, Jaxson, Austin, Ashton, Aiden, Abel, Blaine, Braxton, Brooklynn, Austin, Owen, and Noah, and her great grandchildren Ryder, Everleigh, and Axel; her sisters Chris (John) Doerfler, Cindy (Karl) Mitze, Lynda Smith, her brothers Bryan (Susan) Makowski and Paul (Carrol) Doerfler, and numerous nieces and nephews and many other loved family members; She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Joan Doerfler and brother Steve Doerfler.
