Marilyn Louise Teuber Obituary

Marilyn Teuber, 88, of St. Catharines, Ontario passed away peacefully in hospital on March 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.


Loving mother to Aileen (Thomas) Hulme and Karl (Colleen) Teuber. Cherished Oma to Amie (Jules), Kimberley (Daniel), Meghan (Kevin), Jennifer and Brady, and great grandchildren Annika, Vivienne, Avila and Elizabeth.


Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband Bernhard (Bernie) Teuber, brother Mervin (Glynnis) McAllister and sister Joyce Mohrhardt.


Marilyn will be missed by her dear friend Mary Jo, extended family and friends.


Born and raised in Hamilton to parents Phyllis (nee Hampson) and Robert McAllister, Marilyn was married to Bernie in 1961 with whom she relocated to St. Catharines where they raised their own family together for 49 years.


Marilyn was an active member of the Silver Spire United Church (formerly Welland Avenue United Church) community, and enjoyed travelling with Bernie to Model “N” Railroad events throughout their life.


As per Marilyn's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and Friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Marilyn’s life on Friday March 14, 2025 at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family will precede the service at 9:00 am. The family asks that attendees honour Marilyn’s love of bright and cheerful colours in their attire; her favourite colour was red.
