Carlos E. Slagle, 60, of Canton, passed away Sunday, March 9th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton, on July 23, 1964, a son of the late John and Kathryn (Parrish) Slagle. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by daughter Tabitha Evans and sister Dawn Slagle. Carlos proudly served in the U.S Army, 172nd Light Infantry Brigade, Alaska - 41 years of mongoose family that are past and the ones that are still here. Mongoose Strong. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Debra Slagle; 2 daughters Tiffany Evans, Brytnea Slagle; 2 sisters Kathy Warrick, Vicky McQuaid; 2 brothers Jeff Slagle, Randy Slagle; 7 grandchildren Tyler "Chewy" Evans, Gavin "Big head" Burchfield, Devin "Mater" Slagle, John "George" Evans, Adrian "Woodstock" Burchfield, Jase Lombardi, Kaiden Lombardi as well as other family members and friends. A Memorial service will be held in The Sanctuary Church Of God • 6535 Maplebrook Ave NE, East Canton, 44730 • on Thursday, March 20th. Calling hours at 5 PM until start of service at 6 PM with Pastor Steve Stewart officiating. A dinner will be served following the memorial service.
