It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Demario James White, better known as Mario, who left us unexpectedly on March 9, 2025 at the age of 39. Mario was born on October 9, 1985 and was a lifelong resident of Richmond, Virginia.

Mario was the beloved son of Willnette and Walter, and a devoted brother to Antonio. He was a loving father to his daughter Raykeema, and he will always be remembered by his Aunt Joyce. He was predeceased by his baby girl, grandmother, uncles, and grandfather.

Mario had an infectious love for life. He was deeply passionate about music, dancing, and singing, and those close to him often admired his cooking skills. His signature dish, a mean pot of spaghetti, was always a crowd favorite. Mario was a high school graduate, and his creativity and zest for life were evident in everything he did.

Mario’s generosity and kindness were unmatched. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and brighten someone’s day with his laughter and warm spirit. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Mario’s life will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Wilson & Associates’ Funeral Service. Friends and family are invited to gather, share their memories, and honor Mario’s legacy.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Wilson & Associates' Funeral Service - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA, with a viewing held one hour prior to the service.
