Rita Virginia Lippert, age 98, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Messiah Village. Born July 29, 1926 in Swatara Township, she was the daughter of the late Anna V. (Flickinger) and Charles W. Lippert, Sr.

Rita was very proud of her 43 years that she dedicated to the federal government as a secretary at the Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown and then ultimately retiring from Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg. She was a member of the Harrisburg Choral Society and a 79 year member of Market Square Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg, where she sang in the choir.

Rita was preceded in death by her four siblings, Charles Lippert, Jr., Marlin Lippert, Sr., Naomi Progin and Lester Lippert. She is survived by numerus nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM till the time of services.
