Marion “Everette” Mobley, Jr., 60, Thomson, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 10, 2025.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 1, 1964, grew up in Thomson, Georgia, served 20 years in the military and moved back to the Thomson, Georgia in 2020. Everette graduated from Thomson High School and later earned his bachelor’s degree in Adult Education and Training, retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked as a Business Consultant with ASM Research. He enjoyed cars and guitars and loved spending time with family and friends.
Everette was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Everette Mobley, Sr. and Betty Ann Booth Mobley and his sister, Cynthia Lynn Mobley Wren. His survivors include his devoted wife of 25 years, Wendy Thomas Mobley and his daughter, Aja Jackson (Ross) and other extended family.
His Graveside Service, being officiated by Rev. Corry Craine, will be held at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, Georgia on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the graveside one-half hour prior to the service, and a wake with potluck will be held at the home of Mrs. Everette Mobley, after the service.
