Robert E. Arnold, Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home March 9, 2025. Rob was born March 2, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware. Son of the late Robert E. Arnold Sr. and Patricia Arnold. Rob was a dedicated, hardworking man who always put the needs of everyone before his own. Rob had a heart of gold and a sense of humor. Rob was full of jokes and bad language but a friend like no other. Rob had many hobbies that he was passionate about and shared many stories of his racing street bike days. He was an avid fisherman and loved to shoot at the Dibner compound. Rob spent many nights at the compound with his friends swapping stories at the pavilion, lighting fireworks, and being the best practical joker. You never knew when you would fall victim to one of his many pranks. He was one of a kind that left an imprint on everyone he met. Rob will definitely be missed but he will never be forgotten. We will take comfort in knowing that Rob was greeted with open arms from our dear friend Michael DeFusco who passed away January 19, 2017.

He leaves behind his five siblings, Richard Arnold of New Milford and his wife Christina, Deborah Flint of Oklahoma City, Sandra Mosher of Newtown, Kathleen Mosher of Southbury, and Timothy Mosher of Southbury and his significant other, Terry Lieder, of Southbury. Rob also leaves behind his nephew Michael Flint of Oklahoma City, and his beloved companion of 8 years Rebecca Berry of Southbury.

Friends and family are invited for a memorial gathering, which will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North in Southbury, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
