Ann Marie Tobin, age 69 of Owosso, passed away, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 720 S. Shiawassee St. Owosso, MI 48867 with Rev. Dennis Irish officiating. Family will receive friends at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel in Owosso on Saturday from 2-6 pm. Ann was born on June 8, 1948 in Saginaw to the late Walter and Patricia (Reynolds) Cain. She attended Genesee High School, graduating in 1966 and went on to earn her Associate's Degree from Baker College, Flint. Prior to her retirement, Ann was a Legal Secretary for over 40 years. She was a past member of the Legal Secretaries of Shiawassee County and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Ann enjoyed painting, coloring and crafts of all kinds. She is survived by her son, Joseph (Jeannette) Tobin of Midland; 2 grandchildren: Jessica Tobin and Justin Tobin; her siblings: Terry (Pam) Cain, Richard (Denise) Cain, David (Melody) Cain, Sherri (Dennis) Irish, several nieces and nephews as well as her church family at Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Cain.
