It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aurora “Yoya” Reyes beloved mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother. Yoya peacefully passed away in her sleep on March 9,2025 at the age of 86. 

She was born on February 6, 1939, in Tacubaya, Distrito Federal, México. She lived a life full of love, kindness, and devotion to her family. A woman of unwavering strength. She touched the lives of everyone she met. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love for them was immeasurable. As a mother, she was a guiding light. As a grandmother, she found endless joy in the company of her grandchildren and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. 

She had a special ability to make every person feel valued, and her generosity and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her. Aurora is survived by her daughters Oliva Soleda Reyes, Sandra Estela Reyes- Mendez (son in law Isidro Mendez), and Elizabeth Rachel Reyes-Aceytuno (son in law Sergio Aceytuno). Her grandchildren Breanne Reyes, Jacquelyn Aceytuno, Xol Aceytuno (granddaughter in law Carolina Mariscal), Sarah Martinez, Daniel Martinez and Sergio Aceytuno, and the soon-to-arrive great-grandchild. 

Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
