Marcia Anne Taylor, 77, of Georgetown, Georgia, died Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her sons residence in Fortson, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 12 Noon, at the Georgetown Baptist Church with Dr. Kermit Soileau officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgetown Cemetery with Chapman Funeral Home directing. The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M., CDT, at the funeral home.
Born July 23, 1947 in Cuthbert, Georgia, Marcia was the daughter of the late Walter Cleveland and Effie Ileen Edwards Bennett. She was also preceded in death by her step-father Churchill Lilly and her grandson Taylor Zane Bagwell.
Survivors include her husband: Stephen Taylor; 2 sons: Todd (Kim) Bagwell and Jack (Blake) Bagwell; 2 daughters: April (Richard) Baggett and Dana (John Everett) Pate; 17 grandchildren: Lilly Bagwell, Logan Bagwell, Todd (Delaney) Berrong, Molly Bagwell, Tanner Bagwell, Cash Bagwell, Jace Bagwell, Hunter Beasley, Brody Beasley, June (Tyler) Dunn, Sidney (Edward) Akins, Samantha (Nate) Grantham, Savannah (Korgan) Chalker, Parker Baggett, Logan Baggett, J.T. Pate and Allie Pate; 11 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Sonny (Mary) Bennett.
Active pallbearers will be Richard Baggett, Cason Williams, Todd Berrong, Logan Bagwell, Logan Baggett and Ken Stanfield.
