Kermit Mitchell Hudson Obituary

Kermit Mitchell Hudson, 86, of Pascagoula, MS, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born on July 15, 1938, to Lester and Allie Hudson in Jasper, AL. Kermit was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He enjoyed many hobbies, especially working in his garden. Kermit was an avid Alabama Fan who never missed a game on the television. He was also a true believer in education, earning two master’s degrees, all while working at Ingall’s Shipbuilding. He retired from Ingall’s in 2000 and started to enjoy life by traveling to all 50 states and several providences in Canada.

Kermit was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Allie Hudson; sister, Jan Williams; daughters, Tanya McCollough and Christal Hudson; grandchildren, Mickey, Mitchell and Amanda Dugan. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bonnie Hudson; son, Randall Hudson; granddaughter -in -law, Marla Dugan; six great- grandchildren; and special friends Emily and Cary Houston.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. Funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. with Bro. Daniel Black officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah cemetery.
