Anthony "Tony" Lynn Hoelscher, Jr., 75, of Westphalia, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025. Born on December 19, 1949, to Anton and Helen Gausemeier Hoelscher, Tony was a lifelong resident of Westphalia, where he built a life centered on faith, family, and service.

On August 17, 1968, he married Lillian Michalewicz at Lott Sacred Heart and were married for 56 years. Together, they raised three sons, Dwayne "Scott" (Chrisann), Anthony (Gina), and Quintin (Kara), all of Westphalia. He was a proud grandfather to Paden, Nate, Blayne, Riley, and Cash.

Tony served his community as a firefighter with the Austin Fire Department for over 27 years, a Falls County Deputy Sheriff, Falls County Commissioner for Precinct 3 for 20 years, and Fire Chief for the Marlin Fire Department. He also ran a fencing and patio company while managing his farm and ranch. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and checking cattle each morning.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry R. Hoelscher, Tony leaves behind a legacy of love and service.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Visitation on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Darrell Kostiha officiating, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Tony’s strength, dedication, and love for his family and community will be deeply missed.
