Dianne J. Stecker, age 74 of Newton passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Harborview Assisted Living Center, Manitowoc.

Dianne was born on December 2, 1950 in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late William and Shari (Metzger) Tech. She was a 1969 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Following high school, Dianne attended the Holy Family School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Dianne was married to David M. Stecker on September 9, 1972 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2021. Dianne was a Registered Nurse and worked at Holy Family Hospital and retried from St. Mary’s Home in Manitowoc.

Dianne enjoyed bird watching, shopping with her daughter, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking cakes for all occasions. Dianne was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her four children and their spouses: Angela (Shawn) Zucchi, Reedsville, Jason Stecker, Jonathen (Tiffany) Stecker, Aaron (Carrie) Stecker, all of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren: Branden Zucchi and his fiancée Ashley, Morgan Zucchi, Bryce Stecker, Coy Stecker, Madison Stecker, Lorin Stecker, Jacob Stecker and his fiancée McKenzie; two step-grandchildren: Ashley Tackett, Arianna Wolske; five step-great-grandchildren: Pierce, Koy, Inara, Thaya, Lamarr; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Kathy (Tom) Brown, Lynn (Roger) Patton; one brother and sister-in-law: Jeffrey (Cynthia) Tech, all of Manitowoc; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Gerald (Donna) Stecker, Charles (Cheryl) Stecker, Caroll (Donald) Hoffmann, all of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Shari Tech; her husband: David M. Stecker; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Earl and Joanne Stecker; one brother-in-law: Jerome Radl; two nephews: Benjamin Thom and Andrew Peltier; her two furry companions: Pepper “Peppie-Pie” and Jazzy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. The Rev.’s Stephen Melso and Caleb Davisson will officiate with burial to follow at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
