Doris Marie Daniels, age 77, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 16, 1948 in Bristol, TN, a daughter of the late Fred and Pauline Thomas Roberts. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Daniels (Erika); and siblings, twin brother David Roberts, Carolyn Gross and Wesley Roberts. Doris worked for 25 years at UNIVAC, 5 years for Raytheon, and 10 years at Electrolux before retiring. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always enjoyed gardening and working outside. She loved and cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Johnny Daniels; children, Mark Daniels, Melissa Hogston husband Joe, Jeff Daniels wife Michelle, and Chris Daniels wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Kayla Withrow husband Tanner, Keeley Palmer husband Gus, Pryce Jordan Daniels, Chandler Daniels wife Alyssa, Jenna Vandyke husband Bryton, Seth Davis, Chandler Davis wife Brooke and Nicole Finch husband Anthony; great grandchildren, Ronnie Kay Withrow, Danny Palmer, Annie Palmer, Easton Finch, Ellie Finch, Jagger Daniels, Eliana Daniels, Blakely Daniels, Jax Daniels, Jovie Vandyke, Kollyn Davis, and Crue Davis; special friend, Shannon Piedmont; special nieces, Rhonda Venable husband Kenny and Lisa Arthur husband Dave; and several other nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Harold Daniels wife Faye, Larry Daniels wife Ginger.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Weaver Funeral Home with Dr. Austin Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. prior to the service. A committal and graveside will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, VA.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Tanner Withrow, Gus Palmer, Chandler Daniels, Josh Slagle, Tyler Venable and David Venable.
