Colleen Adams Rubenacker, 96, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 3:09 am March 9, 2025 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor in Mount Vernon. She was born August 7, 1928 in Royalton, Illinois to the late Newton and Imogene (Tripp) Martin. Colleen first married Harris Alan Adams on September 18, 1948. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1989. She later married Paul Rubenacker on July 5, 1991. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2008.  

Colleen is survived by her daughters, Vicki McNealy and husband, David of Mount Vernon and Susan Adams of Madison, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild expected soon; and half-siblings, Gene Earl Beltz, Tom Beltz, and Lois DeFrank.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Colleen was preceded in death by her son, Rick Adams; granddaughter, Jessica Wood; stepfather, Earl Beltz; brother, Bob Martin; and half-brother, Frankie Dean Beltz.  

Colleen attended Logan Street Baptist Church. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Private Graveside Service will be held. Interment take place at Bethel Memorial Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
