Joanne G. Ademski, 84, of Wilmington, Delaware peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025.  Born in Wilmington on July 13, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Theresa (Kleamski) Gondek.

Joanne was a graduate of St. Matthew’s Grade School, Ursuline Academy and Immaculata Junior College.  She was employed as an administrative assistant with ICI/Astra Zeneca and Kirkwood Fitness Club.  A member of St. Matthew’s Parish, she possessed immense pride in her role as a loving wife and mother, and especially cherished her beloved grandchildren.

Joanne is survived by her husband of 58 years, Raymond F. Ademski; her children, Denise Lenz and husband, Bill, Tommy Ademski and wife, Brenda, Danny Ademski and wife, Erica, and Broni Ademski; her grandchildren, Max, Timmy and Julianna Lenz, Niko Martinez, Isabella and Magdon Ademski, Jude and Luna Sendejo-Ademski.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Gondek and Rev. Albert Gondek, OSFS; her sister, Marian Antonini.

Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Matthew’s Church, 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilmington, Delaware 19804 on Friday, March 14 from 9:30 – 10:45AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM, immediately followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, Delaware 19808.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joanne may be made to St. Matthew’s Parish.
